The 1st Smart Power Grid Technology Conference (SPGTC) intends to cover the full technology/business ecosystem, including Meter to inside the building and the Meter outside to the grid. The in-home portion of the grid includes topics on home environmental monitoring and adjustment (lighting, temp) as well as time of use control, monitoring and whole house data connectivity for entertainment/data collection. The Meter to gird side includes RF and data capture at the meter, remote and through line data collection, DBMS infrastructure, system security and billing/pro-active data control back to the individual units through the grid.
